THE STORY OF THIS ONE OFF HONDA ACCORD:I bought this vehicle earlier this year as an unfinished project from a gentleman who was building a race car for circuit track racing, S.C.C.A style. The guy was not desperate for money. He had too many projects at the same time and simply decided to sell this one. I saw the ad and found it looked interesting as I love racing and went to see it and made a deal with him to buy it and I did. My intention from the start was to finish the car but to a street worthy condition with the possibility of taking it to autocross events locally, seeing that it already had so many magnificent performance upgrades, then I would have one of the best looking and performing Honda Accord coupes in town with a JDM H22a set up. I also had a really nice rear wheel drive 300zx at the time so I desired to have a great front wheel drive as well. I have spent quite some time and money on finishing the Honda thus far, but my plans have since changed and I decided to sell both my vehicles. The 300zx is already gone and I am selling the Honda as well with all the performance upgrades. The interior door panels are missing but the door handles are there and functional. (I tried every parts place in my area and had no luck finding them, at least the ones for the coupe edition)ApexI VAFC Controller is not connectedThe sunroof, mirrors and windows are power operated but not connected. THEY WORK, I know this because I ran direct battery current to the actuators to test them and they were functional.When I first got the car the Battery failed on me. I bought a NEW battery and alternator and it still didn't charge, so I concluded that either the fuse somewhere is blown or the alternator is not hooked up properly to the harness/charging system.(I AM NOT AN ELECTRICIAN SO I DID NOT INTERFERE WITH THESE ISSUES, I HAD SOMEONE DO A DIAGNOSIS FOR ME. THIS IS WHEN I DECIDED TO GO A DIFFERENT DIRECTION RATHER THAN GO FURTHER WITH THIS BUILD)I also spent $570 when I first got it to change the rear main seal and oil pan gasket because of an oil leak. There is still a very SMALL oil leak from the oil pan gasket( I assume that the oil pan was not sealed properly)The driver side window has a leak by the door strip. The rubber door strip seems to be a bit brittle from sun exposure.No Power Steering (Buyer will get P/S pump). Air condition compressor and lines are installed, but need charging and lines need attention, tightening etc.(However, most of these things are irrelevant with racing) THOUGH THIS SEEMS LIKE A LOT OF ISSUES THEY ARE ALL MINOR AND SMALL FIXES COMPARED TO THE UPGRADES.... THIS IS A ONE OFF HONDA ACCORD BUILD. THIS CAR RUNS AND DRIVES. THIS CAR IS NOT MY DAILY DRIVER BUT IS DRIVEN PERIODICALLY SO AS TO NOT BECOME STALE JUST SITTING IN MY GARAGE. THIS CAR IS BEING SOLD FOR WAY LESS THAN WHAT IS INVESTED. DO YOUR OWN RESEARCH ON THE LIST OF UPGRADES ABOVE. IF YOU HAVE REACHED THIS FAR READING .
