I'm selling my 1996 Ford Explorer XLT 4X4 with Sport package. I have original dealer paperwork, Maintenance reocords, smogged in June 2012. New Tires, New battery. The dealer tags pictured are the actual ones from this truck. You can see all the extra options this thing has. It's an awesome truck! It's located in Fort Bragg Transmissions shop in CA ( I will provide their contact information at bottom). They are ready to repair/replace the transmission, or you can haul it off. The transmission after it warms up is slipping. I have no means of getting there so this could be a great deal for someone who can fix it, or replace the tranny. I found a transmission on Craig's List for $350.00, and laborto take old one out and put new one in is about $500. from my machanic. I just have two small kids and no time. My loss is your gain. This truck has been well taken care of and it Blue Books for $3400. in it's condition. I took the first picture off google, I have no current pic's of the truck, the brochure picture is to show you the type of interior it has... It's the "Medium Graphite", Smaller pic in corner. There are only minor quarter shape inperfections in body, over all this truck is great shape! You will not be disapponted with this truck. If you want to repair it at the current shop and drive it off, you can. I just got off the phone with the tranny shop and they are great!
