This is an incredible 1999 Mercedes SL500R Convertible. This Mercedes SL500 is finished in beautiful Glacier White Exterior over Shell Nappa Leather Interior with Wood Trim Accents. Furthermore, it has the wonderful 5.0L 8CYL that has been a reliable engine for years. THE HISTORY The Mercedes SL500 has only 28,296 miles on it... that is only an average of 2k miles per year of driving !!! The VIN is WDBFA68F7XF174205. It was sold Brand New by Bill Ussery Mercedes Benz in Coral Gables Florida on July 30th of 1999 with just 16 miles on the odometer with a lease through Mercedes Benz Financial. This original owner lived in Miami Beach Florida and kept this SL500 normally serviced at the Mercedes dealer. In May of 2002 and with just 14,788 miles on the odometer, this original owner lease end turned in this SL500. Mercedes Benz Financial sold the SL500 to Mercedes Benz of Pompano on May 31st of 2002 with just 14,842 miles on the odometer. They saw how low the miles were and how great the condition was and decided to put it through their service department for the Mercedes Benz Starmark Certified PreOwned Inspection. It passed the inspection, was given a copmplete service, and was granted the 6 year 100k mile StarMark CPO warranty. Mercedes Benz of Pompano put this SL500 out for retail sale and had no trouble finding it a new owner. On June 3rd of 2002 with just 14,849 miles on the odometer, this SL500 began it's life with it's second owner. This second owner lived in Pompano Beach Florida and kept it normally serviced at Mercedes Benz of Pompano. The CarFax report has entries with dates and mileages. In late August of 2012 and with just 28,290 miles on the odometer, I was offered the oppurtunity to purchase this SL500 from the second owner, which I did, and I am proud to now offer this SL500 for sale here on eBay. THE CONDITION The overall exterior condition of the vehicle is very good. The vehicle looks absolutly great for its age and mileage although some very minor surface scuffs/scratches are evident here and there. The paint is deep and glossy. The hardtop has some minor touched up hairline scratches from being stored. The interior shows very little wear. The leather looks very clean and is free of any tears or fade. The carpeting is plush and clean. The dash and door panels are in great shape. Some of the rims have some minor curb rash. The tires on this Mercedes are Michelin Pilot Sport P245/45ZR17 95Y's with approx 65% of tread life left. I have one master key, the owners manuals with original window sticker, the toolkit, the front license plate bracket, the removeable wind deflector, and the carpet floormats.
