1962 Pontiac Star Chief 4 door This is a great project that you can drive while restoring. Good running good riding vehicle. Body is straight with one small rust spot in passenger rear quarter. Very solid but after 50 years it does need paint. 389 V8 that runs and starts great, Engine runs great but does need valve seals, smokes a bit when you first start it. It is leaking a bit I believe in the rear seal so that may need attention, otherwise its very solid. No other body or frame rust. 97,000 original miles. Has new wiper motor and brakes have been redone. Interior is great, previous owner had installed new seat covers, carpets and headliner. I have had the dash pad recovered and have sent the front door panels out to be redone. Panels should be ready this week. I also have all new interior door handles and window cranks. Car has a two barrel carb and manifold but I do have a complete tri-power setup for it with rebuilt carbs, new linkage and fuel lines. Manifold has correct numbers for a 62.If I get my asking price that will be included otherwise that is available for $1200.00. Have clear title in hand. More pictures are available.
