Rare 300 SDL Mercedes for sale with very low mileage. At only 98100 miles this car is just getting started. If you are looking at this auction you are probably aware of the legendary reliability these cars offer. Only 13,800 of these cars were built at the height of German engineering in the 1980s. This particular 300 SDL that was built in 1986 comes with the 3.0L inline turbo diesel 6 cylinder engine. These powerful diesel engines can achieve 30mpg on the highway while riding in the comfort of a large luxury car. This is a three elderly owner car which has spent its entire life in south Florida. It is in great shape and has been well maintained as indicated by its service records. All four tires are Goodyear Assurance, two are brand new and the remaining two are about 70 percent. Recently front brakes pads were replaced and the rotors resurfaced. Last year the glow plugs were replaced, as well as the battery. The engine and transmission are running and operating well. Interior wise the leather is showing very little signs of wear. Its a/c blows cold and cools the car well. There are two cracks on the dash which are typical of these cars after sitting in the sun. Right side crack is about 4 inches and the left side is just starting. On the exterior there are no major dents, dings or signs of accident damage. A copy of the Carfax report is available on request. Paint is shinning bright but shows some signs of fading on the roof and trunk lid. Still shines bright but needs to be noted.
