Vehicle Detail
I am selling my 1934 International hot rod. The truck was built in 2006 and has been licensed and driven every year until this year. The cab has been chopped 4 1/2". All of the wood has been removed and pipe and square tubing have been put in its place. The floor has been replaced with steel. The original gauges are functional. I have not bought the adapter for the speedo and the fuel tank has its own gauge. The seats are from a military ambulance. The chassis is custom built with 2x4 rectangular tubing that is strong and square. It has been Z'ed about 6" and that puts the rocker 5" from the ground. The bed is a 1934 Ford that has been shortened and the floor has been kerfed and bent to fit the frame. The gate is welded shut. The fuel tank was a beer keg, and the battery box is the pleasure chest cooler. The wiring is an E-Z wire kit with an internal regulator alternator. The motor is an original 1941 flathead Ford, that has been fitted with a Fenton intake and 2-94 carbs. The exhaust is home built zoomie style headers with baffles. I picked up a trans adapter and installed a T-5 trans(overdrive). The drive-line is converted to an open style. The axles are 1937 Ford truck axles that have been converted to juice. The steering box, column and wheel are International. The things needing attention are the motor smokes out of the baffle, probably will need a rebuild, and the clutch cable is broken. So the truck wont drive. The passenger window mechanism is missing. Also this truck was a US forest service vehicle(the logo is on the passenger door and legible). I am 6'3" and can fit in this truck comfortably. The truck drives good and with the over-drive it will go faster than the bias tires like to. I have a new project and would like to sell this to someone who needs a winter project. Thanks for looking and please ask if there are any questions.
