Vehicle Detail

1933 Dodge 4 door sedan model DP in good condition - steel body with working emergency brake, hydraulic brakes, 1930's vintage working AM radio with radio head on steering column (Philco model 700), with all working windows and door handles, working horn, swing out front windshield, syncronized shifting, powered by the Dodge flathead straight six motor. All gauges work except for the water temp gauge (alternate working water temp gauge under dash). I had new brake lines put on as well as new brake linings, new front wheel cylinders, rebuilt rear wheel cylinders and rebuilt master cylinder. The windshield wiper works well. The front fenders were removed when the car was painted and re-enforced with metal supports for bolting as original. There are some scratches on the paint on the front fenders and hood. Water leaks through doors in the rain since there is no rubber to seal the doors. The top is functional but should be replaced since it is old and dry-rotted a bit around its perimeter. The interior is decent but not a $5000 install. The dome light works with slide switches on both center posts. There are vanity lights with there own slide switches by each back seat window. The generator charges the new, heavy duty 6vdc positive ground battery quite well. You will want to upgrade the running board rubber. Forgot to add here that the front passenger window garnish is missing. I want to put in the same style as the others and haven't found one yet. Wide white walls will look nice as the tires are ready to change, however the innertubes hold up quite well without leaking air for many many weeks. Some pics show no windshield wiper, but I had it off to replace the windshield rubber when I took those pics. This car won first place in the Cleveland Auto-rama in 2011 for "original street rod" and 2nd place this year. The car is not, however, a "hot rod". I have driven this car to many shows and drove just for the enjoyment of feeling it's 1933 ride! Reserve the right to pull the ad at any time before the car is secured with the down payment. Inspections welcome. No trades please.
