1965 Ford Mustang Coupe 289 V8 I am selling my awesome 1965 Ford Mustang which has a 289 8-Cylinder Engine. This mean resto-mod machine has lived in the beautiful southwest meaning it has no known rust. I am not a car dealer or salesman. I am unfortunately selling my car which was started as a project long-ago to pay for some unforeseen expenses. I've owned this car for almost 10 years now and purchased the body from who I believe to be the original owner. This was a project which had lots of money and time that went into it's restoration. The engine/transmission came from another vehicle, the electrical system had to be redone, and numerous parts were replaced which are listed below. I have receipts and paperwork available. The car is very solid with a great body and is a great driver quality car. Clear Texas Title in hand and is currently registered.VIN 5R07C160519 and I have the original door tag with codes which details the cars history (original color/trim/assembly plant, etc)There is no accident damage or rust problems with this car like cars from northern climates.The car has been restored to a Vintage Burgundy color to look like the day it left the Ford factory. The paint job looks great and the car has a brilliant shine. There are no bubbles or dents. There are only a couple of very minor, small scratches which don't stand out in the pictures. Lots of new chrome including new bumpers, emblems, badges, kick-plates, antenna, and mirrors.New headlights and tail lights with bezels.New Windshield and Back-window.Good clear glass and all the windows roll up and down.It has a black interior which has been redone with new carpet, headliner, seat upholstery, seat belts, door panels, etc. Runs and Drives GreatUnder the hood is a strong 289 8-Cylinder engine which has been dressed up with chrome and is fast. It does not have blue smoke, no unwanted noises, and has no bad oil leaks. The engine is in good shape. (It's not the original engine or transmission so the mileage is inaccurate)The 3-speed automatic transmission was recently overhauled and has a B & M Racing shifter on the floor.It has dual exhaust with large chrome tips which sounds *** TOUGH***Has awesome 15-inch chrome rims with large tires in the back giving it a mean stance.New radiator installed recently to keep it running nice and cool.New stock carburator was installed.Battery replaced.Brakes redoneNew Wipers blades installed but not working. TERMS of SALE: I require a $500.00 deposit within 24 hours of the Auction end and I require payment in full within 5 days of the Auction end without exception. PayPal is fine for the deposit but not the balance. For the balance I would prefer a bank wire transfer or a certified cashier’s check which can be mailed overnight or sent by FedEx me. The buyer will receive a clear signed off Texas title for the car. Any inspection of the Car needs to be completed BEFORE the end of the Auction and not after. The Mustang will not be delivered or released until my Bank is satisfied that it has received good funds. STORAGE: I will store this car without charge for 30 days (after it is paid in full) so that the buyer can arrange a time to either pick it up or arrange transport. SHIPPING: Any needed shipping will be at buyer’s expense and direction. The car is also available for pickup by the buyer from my home.
