Vehicle Detail

For sale is my 1970 MGB with 101.495 miles. The mileage seems correct for the car, but I can not guarantee. Per the BMHT certificate, it is a numbers matching car and has factory overdrive. I have owned the car since August of 2004 and driven less then 8K miles. The previous owner did all the body work and painting. The car is not an original color, but is very nice and in very good condition. When I purchase the car, it needed some mechanical TLC. In the last 8 years, I have rebuilt the engine, the hydraulics, complete font end rebuild w/ V8 bushings and new swivel axle bushings and kingpins and new wirewheels. New lever shocks on the front and rear. New rotors and calipers, and rebuilt the HS4 SU carbs with new bushings and shafts. Last winter I re-upholstered the seats and replaced the carpet and re-chromed the bumpers. When the engine was rebuilt, the engine bay was painted in the original BLVC15 bronze yellow. The previous owner de-smoged the car and it has AUD 135 HS4’s, I added the PCV valve which is correct to these carbs. The floor pans were repaired by the PO with epoxy and are very solid. The rocker panels were replaced with metal and have no evidence of rust. The body is very solid and clean. There is a small dent behind the LR overrider and a paint chip on the LR fender bead. The top is in good condition and does not leak, the rear window is clear. I do not drive the car in the rain and rarely put the top up. It has been garage kept for the last 8 years. The top is the split frame rear storage design. The PO owner added the trunk carpeting kit. (not my cup of tea, but nice) Everything works as it should and the car runs very strong. The OD is fully functional and the 4 speed is excellent. I currently have 4 cars and just purchased a Porsche 944 S2 cabio, so I need to sell something. A $500 deposit via pay pal is required within 48 hours of auction close. The balance is due prior to delivery of the car. Final payment can be made via cash of certified check. All funds must clear prior to delivery. If you have less then 5 ebay feedbacks OR any negative feedback, please call me at 717 367-9132 before bidding. Transportation is the responsibility of the buyer. I have represented my car honestly and fairly. I expect you to reciprocate.
