UPDATE - I HAVE A STRONG LOCAL OFFER. PLEASE BID IF YOU ARE INTERESTED. No Reserve. I do have local offers coming in so please bid if interested. This is a well laid out Boxster but it is a used car. It does have extras that were not cheap. Mainly the rims and tires. Racing rims and HP wide tires with life left. See photos. Red brake calipers, upgraded Carrera look tail lights, electric spoiler, and racing type brake drums with air holes in them. It also has a new top with glass window and rear defrost. Everywhere I take it people think it is a Carrera. Some cars are normal and some cars people look at and ask you about. This is one of them. I have owned the car since 2004. It is fun to drive. I've kept it mostly in my garage and a tinker toy, not an every day driver. I am selling this car because we have a new Baby and I can't keep it. I am an honest seller so don't let the following list of issues scare you. I just trying to be transperent. If you are thinking of owning a boxster then you should expect to spend some money. I have not had the extra money to keep up with the car for about a year now. The horn is not working. The AC vents have some particle foam collecting in them that has to be vaccumed about once a month but it is not a big deal. The mechanic told me this is normal for Boxsters this age and it will evenutally stop. The new top was professionally installed. The top motors and all electronics do work on the top. It currently raises and lowers. But since the rod ends are a little loose, they will pop off if you don't give the top little manual alingment before closing all the the way. However, when the rods ends are changed the top needs to be adjusted and aligned. You will need to do this so the clam shell will pull down tight when closing. The new rod ends will change the alingment some. The paint is in good condition for a car this age but a perfectionist would have a few small dings fixed and re painted. 1 rim has a slight impact bend. But look closely, these are not cheap rims. There are rim shops that will re-align the rims and balance these wide tires for around 100 to 200 per rim. Finally, the rims are about 90% done with a light sand and polish. I will try to finish but if not I can give you the Aluminum polish or use aircraft polish for Aluminum to make them shine. Add up the extras on this car. Look at the pictures and consider the low mileage. Spend a little money on it and you'll have a lot of extras at a good value.
