1968 Ford F100 F10YRC80874 410CI, 5 Speed Overdrive, Power Steering, Power Brakes, Air, Touch Screen Stereo with Navi. This 1968 Ford truck is a great runner with upgraded running gear and interior. It is Lunar Green with some dents and dings and rust in the door corner and lower rockers of the front fenders, front rt. fender damage, small crack in windshield (See picts). I never bothered with the exterior with this truck, preferring to use is as a desert hauler for my buggies and quads. I like just being able to dump what ever I needed in the bed and drive it to the desert without worrying about the cosmetics. So all the work is in the running gear and the interior for the 3 to 6 hour runs to the desert. The work done has this being a reliable driver and long distance runner, ending up in the following configuration: Original 360 upgraded in 2001 with a 428 Crank (now 410CI) , new pistons, RV Cam profile, Edelbrock intake, . Holley carb Dyno'd at 400HP 400FTlbs at the rear wheels, The Transmission is a NV4500 a HD 5 Speed overdrive 2001 Dodge 2500 pickup The NV 4500 trans is attached to the stock bell housing, clutch and clutch linkage with the NV pressure plate via an Advanced Adaptors Kit. The front suspension (twin i-beams, spindles and disc brakes) is from a 1975 F150 allowing power disc brake stopping, also taken from the same truck is the power steering setup and tilt steering column. Tube headers exhaust the truck through a custom exhaust system with a cross over, resonators and large truck mufflers that keep the truck very quite. A "Classic Air" air conditioning system is installed and cools the truck nicely. There is two batteries isolated from each other along with an on-board battery charger. The Rear End has an Auburn locker. 65MPH is 2200 in 4th gear and 1700 in 5th gear. Tires are almost new. Inside the comfortable cabin you will find a leather upholstered bench seat, electric windows, trailer brake controller, the Air Conditioning is controlled from the stock dash heater controls, a chrome dash bezel from the F600 model truck a nice look from that late 1960's era, matching tachometer and clock in the bezel. A Nardi leather wrapped wheel controls the power steering. Sounds come from the Kenwood DNX 5120 touch screen stereo deck, iPod connection, Garmin Navigation and Bluetooth connectivity hangs above the shifter a bass boost is under the seat and the Braun bookshelf speakers and tweeters on the A pillars fill the cab with sound. Known Issues Leaks a small amount of oil from rocker covers. Speedo/Odometer does not work, I use the speedo in the Garmin Display. Originally sold by Lambert Motor Co.
