Hello Folks. Up for Bid is my 2005 Dodge Ram 2500 crew cab short bed 5.9 Cummins. I have had the truck for 2 years and aside from the transmission, has been great. She is in very good condition for the miles. I used to use it for my twice a week 140 mile commute to work. Now I just use it to pull my small boat to and from the ramp and tow my 4Runner to the mountains. It has never had a gooseneck or 5th wheel. I had a fresh tranny put in in March of last year (20,000 miles). I have the paperwork to prove. It was done by a local transmission shop, not a dealer. I just got back from a trip out west and replaced the water pump / Tstat / coolant flush. I also had the right axle ujoint, hub assembly, and unit bering replaced. No leaks or rust. Intake has been changed to Amsoil cone filter. Exhaust has cat on with no muffler and dumped out behind the rear axle. Very new 285/75/16 Nitto Terra Grapplers (about 6500 miles). I have been meticulous about maintinence. Only a puff of smoke when you hammer the throttle. It has the 3:73 gears w/ LSD in the back. The VIN clasifies the truck as a Laramie. The truck does not have any Laramie badging but hass all the options accept leather. The bad: I jack knifed my trailer and put a crease in the left reat quarter. I have 2 estimates and both are 500-600 bucks. I will have it fixed prior to pickup with a "buy it now". The master window control works fine and looks fine but is a little loose in the door and I'm not sure how to fix it. Its an awesome truck that I dont have to sell.
