This is probably one of the rarest and best Bobcats or Pintos still in existance. Don't let the 103,000 miles fool you. This is an original California car that has been meticulously maintained by all its owners; it is totally rust free and runs great. Last month we drove this Bobcat on a 2000 mile + trip from its home in Chattanooga, Tn to Iola, Wisconsin for the big annual Old Cars meet and show with no issues and with comfortable cold A/C. This car is not only a great driver with its many options and powerful original V-6, but also a real headturner at every car show. It was nicely repainted 2 years ago in its original white and still sports the original woodgrain. There are tubes of extra orignal woodgrain from Ford in the back and I believe it is enough to redo the car. The butterscotch plaid interior is original with no rips or tears and still shows well. The carpet has been replaced. Headliner looks fine. The dash does have the cracks that all the Pintos and Bobcats have, but molded dash covers are readily available. The car runs great, is good on oil and the V-6 is pretty good on gas. We got 24mpg on the trip to Wisconsin. This car was certified by MartiAutoWorks in 2009 and all paperwork including the original bill of sale come with the car. No warranty is offered or implied. I have never heard of or seen another one that still exists, let alone in this fine condition. The 1976 Bobcat sales brocure even shows one identical to this.
