1978 Avanti that is loaded and READY TO DRIVE anywhere you want to go. This Avanti has been meticulously maintained by an elderly gent who spared no expense keeping this car mechanically up to date. The car comes with an EXTENSIVE packet of receipts to document much of what has been done over the years. I have personally driven this car and would not hesitate to drive it anywhere in the country. The car is certainly NOT a show car, but is a rediculously reliable and solid driver. Smooth and powerful 350 Corvette engine is faster in this car than you would expect. The deep throaty exhaust makes a real statement too. The engine is one of the strongest points of this particular car and runs flawlessly. Transmission is very tight and shifts smoothly. A/C works fantastic and is very cold. Suspension is fantastic and has NEW coil springs, shocks, lower control arms, king pins, bearings, etc, Recent wheel alignment. This car also has an extremely tight front end which loves curvy roads and is a joy to steer. Steering is more modern and FUN due to the addition of Quick steering arms on each side. Brakes are NEW all the way around (BRAND NEW calipers,rotors,rear brake hardware,wheel cylinders and brake linings ) L.E.D. upgraded tailights for real world visibility and safety. Hogtroughs professionally re engineered with Heavy Duty steel retrofit that should never need replacement. Silicone brake fluid DOT 5 All brand new hoses and belts. Coolant flush. New Quick disconnect battery terminal, and cables. Much , much more has been as the above list has been in the last 100 miles. This older guy was very particular. Interior is very nice for its age and driver seat has been upgraded to slide a few inches back to accomodate up to a 6 foot 4 inch man. (or a 5 foot man for that matter ) 6 CD changer is located in the trunk.
