I got this bus in 1997 and it has been a lot of fun. Put a lot of work into it over the years but it is ready for a restoration and I simply don't have the time or energy to devote to the project. His name is "Henry", and although he is in need of some TLC, a little engine work and rust repair, he is very sound mechanically and kicks serious butt when up and running as he has been bored out to a 2.0L with a newer 2 barrel Weber. The rust issue is primarily in the front, under the window and down below the door (pictured). I have a good set of kick panels that are not in the photo. I believe that when he broke down several months ago it was the result of a burned up bearing on the crank shaft. He has some newer after market heads. He has a rear seat that folds down into a bed that I pulled out of a 71' westy, an authentic 3/4 roof rack that is highly sought after, and a box of around $400 worth of high quality new window and door seals that I purchased years ago with the intention of doing a full restoration (not a complete set). Original gauges, good tires, true and straight body and roof. This is a great project for someone or a bounty of parts to contribute to another or multiple vehicles.
