I bought it recently from the son of the 2nd owner (the owner passed away recently). The car ran when parked according to the previous owner. It was parked because the owner purchased a newer Mercedes but did not want to sell the 300b. I believe the transmission is ok but the clutch slave cylinder is probably bad as the clutch does not catch at all. The body is solid. The chrome is high driver quality. The engine sounds wonderful. Paint and minor mechanical work will do wonders for this 300b. There are much worse Adenauers being advertised right now for 20k. I bought it well so am offering at no reserve. - olmdaytona From: To: olmdaytona Subject: has sent a question about item #271039894185, that ending on Aug-26-12 12:19:27 PDT - Mercedes-Benz : 300-Series 300b Sent Date: Aug-22-12 14:11:36 PDT Dear olmdaytona, Thank you for you email, I couldn't bid more as I am not certain if the transmission is ok and only the problem is the clutch. Can you tell me more about its history a little and more details on its condition? Best regards -
