Vehicle Detail
Early Ford Bronco. 2nd owner, I bought from the original owner 9 years ago. Unrestored, Uncut, everything works and only 73,000 miles. Good: Runs and drives excellent, everything is there and everything works including original AM radio. This truck is 99% original – I have not messed with anything. The original owner used it on Sundays, and to haul water up to his house only – that’s why miles are so low. I bought it with 64,000 miles. Sits in my garage now, and has since I owned it. I take it out on Saturday mornings or Sunday mornings to get coffee etc. Automatic (C4) on tree, power steering and power brakes. Bad: Unrestored, hood paint is almost through, you can see in the picture. Small dent under passenger door, and small dent by spare tire. It must have been in a fender bender early in it’s life, because the front driver fenders paint looks better than the rest – and it could use a tie rod and alignment. The amount I drove it, it didn’t bother me. I put new tires on only because they were dry rotting after nine years in my hot garage. Door latches could use replacing – my thumbs are stronger than they used to be… and finally, it leaves a little bronco juice every time I park it for a period of time – maybe 3 or for drips in an hour, and quarter size droppings in garage. Interior looks like its 35 years old. A small amount of work could get this thing looking like a new truck. I like it the way it is, because I get comments and compliments every time I drive it – I like to call it a ‘twenty footer.’ If you’re unfamiliar – it looks great from 20 feet, but when you get closer you can see that it is a 77. This is a 35 year old truck that has not been messed with, but age shows a little, so if looking for new or restored bronco, this is not for you. If you are looking for a fun weekend driver to restore or not – and appreciate these original beauties, this is for you.
