Hello everyone and thank you for looking at my add. Please read the entire description as it covers a lot of important information regarding this vehicle. Just Serviced the car on 7/15/2012: Installed New Drive Belts Installed New Water Pump Installed New Thermostat & Thermostat Housing Replaced Cooling Fluid My dad purchased this car in 2005 already having a salvage title from an auction in Los Angeles. When we purchased the car it had 42k miles on it and the Copart Auction reported the mileage to the DMV accidently listing 1 in front of it causing the mileage at DMV to read 142k. At the time we took it to register we put the actual mileage as it was read on the odometer, unfortunately the title now reads that mileage is not actual due to this discrepancy . After 1 year he transferred the title under my name for personal reasons. He has owned the car since purchase date and has maintained it very well regularly changing oil on the car and taking care of any mechanical issues that arose. Few months ago the vehicle was hit in the parking in the front bumper while parked causing the trim with the license plate to fall of the car. I took the car to local body shop that claimed all the scratches/dings on the front. The other person was found at fault and his insurance decided to claim "Total Loss" on our vehicle instead of repairing it because it was already salvaged they figured it's not worth for them to repair it. I received the settlement amount and purchased the car back at to turn it around. The car will need to pass brake/light inspection as well as smog check to be legally registered in California. Car is sold in as is condition, buyer will be responsible for pick up vehicle/passing brake/light/smog check to register the vehicle. THE CAR IS SOLD IN AS IS WHERE IS CONDTION AND ALL SALES WILL BE FINAL. PLEASE READ CAREFULL: The car needs work please read all the Known Problems: · Front Fender Liners Need to be Replaced (They have been torn for some time now and we never bothered to replace them) · Passenger Side Rear Door has a Dent (It looks like someone dented it with their foot, has been like this for about 2-3yrs now) · AC Does not work · Radio works great but pixels are very hard to read (very common problem) · Horn does not work (Never worked since we purchased the car but has been tested and needs new horn connector on the slip ring behind air bag to function properly) · Power Steering has a leak I took it to mechanic that has been servicing the car since we own it and he recommended not to repair anything at this point as he stated these cars have common problem that power steering leaks from the power steering reservoir. He said currently he doesn't recommend any repairs but in future it will need hose/reservoir replacement. PAYMENT TERMS: Deposit must be made within 24hrs of auctions end time ! Please don't bid if you don't intend to follow the policy. The remaining payment is due by cash upon pick up of the vehicle. If you live out of town and plan to ship the car you can make the payment via Wire Transfer. Checks and Money Orders BOTH will be held until fully cleared up to 7 Days.
