1994 Honda Del Sol 1.6 liter VTEC Motor (35 more HP) Only 102,229 miles The VTEC Del Sol has a beefier suspension, larger tires and bigger brakes than the S or Si models five speed manual transmission shifts very crisp and tight removable hard top with bracket in the trunk cruise control power windows power mirrors air conditioning (needs a belt tensioner to work) THE BAD: Crack in windshield ( at top, not at all in driver view about 6 or 7 inches long) speedometer is not reading right - it shows going faster than you actually are needs side markers re-installed needs inner plastic fender wells re-installed (they come with the car, the car was repainted, looks absolutely beautiful) a/c needs tensioner pulley THE GOOD: This is without a doubt the absolute best running and driving Del Sol I have ever been in and I have owned several. Only 102,229 miles, and it holds the road like glue. You can let go of the wheel doing 70 and it will go for a mile without moving left or right. There are no leaks or smoke whatsoever. The motor runs flawlessly. The transmission shifts flawlessly. The clutch is good and the shifter has no slack in it. It is a total joy to drive! You have to see it and drive it yourself to understand. The ONLY reason it is even for sale is the owner is being deployed to Afghanistan and must sell.
