1984 W300 4x4 Dually Flatbed. This is a great truck. There are very few like it and in this nice of condition. It is the rare commercial heavy-duty cab and chassis model so it has a special 11,000 lb GVW data plate and may be exempt from emissions in some states. This baby is built to tow or haul the largest loads with ease. It is very fun to drive and is very maneuverable. This is the perfect tow/haul/ranch/work/fun truck. It is a very presentable and nice looking truck. Clear Montana title in hand. I have used this for a ranch truck and it has never let me down. Body:The body is very nice and straight, and has ZERO rust-pockets anywhere. The paint is pretty good for it's age with the typical small scratches here and there. The diamond-plate flatbed is very nice and has a toolbox, mud flaps, bed lights, headache rack, hidden gooseneck hitch, HEAVY-DUTY receiver hitch, stake pockets, etc... The cab is very nice and clean inside with a few small issues such as a missing drivers floor mat. The doors open and close nice. The windows work nice. The visors are nice. The seat has a rip so I put on a cover. The ventilation fan works on high. The wipers work on high and low. There are custom oil pressure and temperature gauges and a custom rocker switch to turn on the rear bed/flood lights. A brake controller is installed for trailer brakes. It has the optional air-conditioning but the belts aren't hooked up so I haven't tested it (summers are pretty short here in MT). Mechanical:The 360 V-8 is the heavy-duty version according to the sticker on the air cleaner. It has an Edelbrock carb and fuel pressure regulator. It has a new high-performance electronic distributor, high-performance electronic coil, new ignition wires, spark plugs, newer radiator, radiator hoses, newer clutch, newer starter, heavy-duty deep-cycle battery. This truck has been well-maintained. It fires right up and runs great with no smoke or fuss. This engine is incredibly powerful with the new spark system and Edelbrock carb. Even when started cold you can drive right away with no coughs or sputters or stalling. It just flat works and works awesome. Most people end up peeling out the first time they drive it and are shocked at the power. The engine seems to lug and rev equally well. The thing really screams. The 4-speed tranny and clutch shift and work well. The 4wd transfer case and hubs work great. The drive lines are larger diameter than on my 90's Cummins. Everything is HEAVY-DUTY. Dana 60 front axle, Dana 70 Rear with giant 1-1/8" lug nuts. The springs are nice with no broken springs or other issues. The tires are Toyo A/T Open Country 235/85R16 in load range E 10-ply rating. These are great tires with lots of wear left. The wiper fluid reservoir is cracked on the top. The alternator belt is new, but the power steering belt is worn. The power steering works great with no leaks or whines. The steering is tight and true and the truck goes down the road very nice and super smooth.
