Vehicle Detail

1994 Ford Taurus SHO - 3.2L V6 DOHC The Ford Taurus SHO (Super High Output) is a performance sedan based on the Ford Taurus that was originally produced by the Ford Motor Company from 1989 until 1999. This vehicle’s original owner was a Ford Engineer who received this vehicle as part of his yearly compensation and it was factory assembled with a state of the art mobile phone back in 1994. The engine runs solid with all new seals and belts; new alternator, battery, and air-intake sensor. Yamaha-developed 3.0L V6 and 5-speed manual transmission / AX4S (previously named AXOD-E) transmissions. This 3.2 L version of the Ford SHO V6 engine was introduced for automatic-equipped SHO, which still had 220 hp (164 kW), but now ...boasts 215 lb·ft (292 N·m), a 15 lb·ft (20 N·m) increase over the 3.0 L version. Perfect Body-Exterior & Body-Interior. Ford redesigned the SHO interior, updated the center console, included a trunk lid spoiler, integrated a center high mount stop lamp, and "Italian" or directional slicer wheels. The 1994 model years features subtle changes where it no longer comes with chrome trim around the windows and the door handles are now painted the body color. The rear braking system was completely replaced. The cooling system, drive train, electrical, Emission, exhaust, fuel/air, heat & air conditioning, ignition, and steering, suspension systems are great and passed inspection. Fog lamps, unique seats, side cladding, dual exhaust, as well as a unique rear bumper. Includes four new tires and windshield wipers. The 1994 SHO comes with power locks and an anti-lock braking system. Driver-side and passenger-side airbags are standard equipment. Power windows, cruise control, tilt steering and a cassette player is included. The SHO version of the 1994 Taurus has an 18.4-gallon tank and runs on unleaded fuel. The SHO edition gets 18 miles per gallon in the city and 26 mpg on the highway for either transmission. Inspection is good till 05/2013. Disclosure: only needs transmission replaced.
