1962 Ford Galaxie Factory B code 406 high performance four speed. This car came originally came as a 4 barrel but has been converted to tri-power. It is painted in its original chestnut color with correct original interior. The paint is in perfect condition with no imperfections. The motor is the correct 406 with cross bolted mains. Correct Heads and Factory cast iron long tube headers. Intake and carbs are also factory Ford. Transmission is the correct four speed and shifts great. Interior is also in perfect condition. Underside looks great. And for the good part. This car was bought from Hall of Fame Nascar driver David Pearson. I've just posted more so let me know if anyone needs anything else. Also, Thanks for one of the former owners of this car calling me to give me some history. He actually purchased the car from the Elliott racing family. He owned the car for 15 years and it later ended up with David Pearson. While the Elliott family owned the car Holman Moody rebuilt the front end and suspension. He also told me that he has the original owners manual, build sheet, and alot more documentation on this car. He graciously agreed to send all this information to me. Thanks again and someone is going to get a very cool car with all this history.
