This is one of those cars that can be enjoyed the way it is - a newer paint job and solid body are a plus to the appearance. For someone wanting to do a restoration, the car is very solid. Tires are good, newer exhaust and brakes all the way around. The 315 V-8 engine purrs, and the car has plenty of power. Overheating has been an issue. A new thermostat solved the problem for a year or two - it may need replaced again. A new radiator has been installed - and the original is included in case a buyer would want to have it recored and reinstalled. Even in its unrestored state, this car has turned heads at car shows. It was Buick's first entry in the 'compact' car market - and I have seldom seen more than one or two other Skylarks, or other GM 'sister' cars, of this vintage at the shows.
