1953 Ford Mainline. Flathead V8 engine 239 cu in. 3 speed manual trans, shift on column. Complete restoration in 1987 by previous owner. Rack and pinion power steering installed. (Customized kit. Works ok, but no guarantees. No liability assumed. Original steering parts included in sale. All bolt-on parts.) Body and frame in very good shape. No rust issues. Beautiful chrome. Small amount of so-so body work on driver side rear fender. Engine runs pretty good. Engine was disassembled and all internal components look very good. The block has cylinder sleeves. So, it can not be bored to a much larger diameter such as 3-5/16 or 3-3/8 inches. It can probably be bored .030" over if desired in the future, but it is running fine as it is. There were some head bolts that leak antifreeze. Buyer may have to remove the sealer (Arp thread sealer) on some bolts and replace it with a different one. The red RTV seems to work better. About half of the bolts are done. It may be ok now. Fuel pressure regulator and gauge installed to clean up emissions. (passed NJ emissions test for standard vehicle registration) Transmission looks very good internally. Synchros and gears in very good shape. Gaskets may leak a little. Drive shaft recently rebuilt and balanced. New U-joints and trans bushing. Interior is very good. Front seat upholstery is aging a bit. All functions work including tube radio.
