Vehicle Detail
2003 Nissan Xterra Supercharged 3.3L V6 Off-road 4x4, Lifted S/E 3.3L V6 S/C VG33ER Automatic Transmission 139,XXXmiles Clean report from the Shop I absolutely love this car! She is Xtremely sturdy and strong willed. If you want to get an Xterra, the best recommendation I can impart is to make sure it is supercharged! I have never had any trouble getting up the mountain passes or across steep backcountry trails because of the added power. I know that we can’t always be adventuring, so you should know this car navigates the city efficiently as well. Running on a 3.3L V6 S/C VG33ER, which has been babied and meticulously maintained for her whole life, the V6 won’t drink gas like a V8 found in many SUVs, but has a similar power output. I believe that my favorite part of this whole car though, is the turning radius. I have never driven or even seen a car that can maneuver like this one. I am sad to sell her, but my wife and I are selling everything to hit the open road for a while in our RV. Please Let me know if you have any questions. Thanks for bidding!! *Stickers will be removed for the buyer (just FYI) Modifications · Calmini 3in Suspension Lift o New upper control arms o New ball joints (changed in the past 6 months) o Add-a-leaf in the rear o Rear Shocks o Extended rear shackles o Sway-a-way Torsion bars o New front shocks (changed 2 months ago) o New front sway bar links (changed 2 months ago) · All new custom Steering Linkage o Tie-rods (changed in the past 6 months) o Custom beefy Grassroots 4x4 Centerlink o New pitman and idle arm, custom fit for centerlink (changed 2 months ago) o All new hardware at pitman and idle arm interchanges (changed 2 months ago) o Calmini Idle arm brace o The steering linkage is usually a problem area for lifted vehicles. This is not the case for this Xterra. She is as sturdy as a tank. · Body Armor and Exterior o ARB Front bumper o Vortex 9500 lbs winch mounted internally o Synthetic Winch rope (stronger than steel and you don’t have to worry about metal splinters while winching) o Snorkel (completely sealed which allows for brief deep water traverses and permanently provides a cold air intake system) o Shrockworks rock sliders (provides protection to the most vulnerable part of your car while off-roading, your rocker panels) o Shrockworks rear bumper/tire carrier w/ hi-jack (included). The bumper has 3/16 in steel so you never have to worry about being bumped into again. 1 in thick steel recovery points. And a class III 5000lbs tow hitch built in. This thing is Solid, and does not rattle. Amazing craftsmanship! o Warn Manual locking hubs (much stronger than the stock auto hubs) · Interior and Audio o Rockford Fosgate Upgraded stereo system. This system provides impeccable sound quality and will more than satisfy any music junky. o Jensen deck with a touchscreen. Plays DVDs and has a slot for an SD card o Sony drop-down movie screen for the rear passengers. (I have never used this but have no reason to believe it wouldn’t work if you spent a moment to figure it out.) o Custom gear box in the trunk for tools and recovery equipment. Solid, and has LED lights inside it to help at night o The seats are waterproof (unlike the leather option for other S/C Xterras) I enjoyed this feature very much. · Miscellaneous o New spark plugs (in the last year) o New brake pads and rotors (past 6 months) Plenty of life left o New CV axle on the right side, and new CV boots on the left side o Dual air-horn (nice and loud) o The transmission was recently flushed o The timing belt was changed at 115,000 miles o A new water pump and thermostat was installed then as well o New alternator and battery (in the past year) o A voltmeter was installed in the dash (doesn’t have one in the stock cluster) o New battery cables o A new starter (in the past year or two) Comes with a lifetime warranty o The front bearing have been repacked (in the last year) o The A/C has just been recharged o K&N Air filter (washable, so you never have to buy a new one) o New Driver side door hinges o Recently Detailed The Inevitable Imperfections (looks longer than it is; I wanted to be thorough :-) · Tires o There are 32in BF Goodrich A/Ts on now but they don’t have much life left. I didn’t want to replace them because tire choice is a buyer-dependent decision. You can spend a small amount of money or you can spend a large amount of money on a new set of tires, so I wanted to leave this decision up to the next owner’s discretion. I understand that this is an added expense so I deducted some value from my desired selling price to compensate. o There is a full sized spare that still has plenty of life on it which can be seen in the pictures and all the wheels are in good shape with no dents. · Exhaust o Currently, there are no exhaust pipes extending back, posteriorly, from the y-joint that follows the catalytic converters. I have a diamond plate Flowmaster muffler that will be included with the car if the new owner wants it. Again, exhaust tuning is also a personal preference that I thought should be left for the new owner. If this is a big issue, I would be happy to help arrange getting pipes installed. I personally like the sound it has now with no muffler; sounds like a boat , in a good way J · Cosmetics o There are a few scrapes and dings from normal off-road use. The largest blemish is a dent on the Right-rear door (from a rogue tree branch that came out of nowhere). It’s a battle wound that I have had no need to repair. Mainly, there is no rust forming anywhere. o Other than that, she is in good condition. Although she is not cosmetically perfect, there is no rust that I could find on the frame or the body, and the more important items such as the steering and suspension mechanisms are all in line and reinforced.
