This is a Fiberfab reproduction of a 1952 MGTD. It was purchased by me in 2007 and has given unfailing service since then. It was assembled by an older man in Central Florida who had done several others. I collected this and several original MGB's and Land Rovers during the following years. I have retired since and am selling off my collectibles so that I may travel. This car is in good condition with the exception of some minor scratches and expected wear for a vehicle of this age. The paint has developed a patina that makes it look period correct. The chrome has some pitting which can be expected. The interior has no tears or unsightly wear with some fading of the carpet. The top is in good condition and the side curtains have never been installed so are in good condition.The running gear consists of the engine, transmission, and rear axle from a 1988 Pinto. If you are familiar with these reproductions you will appreciate the build using the Ford drive train over the Volkswagen. The car runs and drives excellently and uses no oil nor drips in the garage. I have driven it on several tours along the Northwest Florida Coast and experienced no mechanical issues at all. I replaced the brake master cylinder with a new(not rebuilt) one and new rear wheel cylinders with new hardware to correct a minor grabbing problem. The mileage is unknown. The speedometer works and seems to be correct but I cannot affirm that the mileage displayed is correct. The stated 25,000 miles is a SWAG by me at the true mileage. Again, the car runs and drives well and reliably. I encourage seriously interested bidders to contact me and arrange to view and drive the car. The ebay listing will not allow the VIN from the title as it does not have enough characters. The VIN matches from the body to the title and is as designated by the State of Florida for a replica car.
