Hello! For sale here is my grandmother's 1984 Mercedes 230 E. It was purchased new in Germany by my grandfather and then imported here and converted to United States standards. I am selling it for her since she is in a assisted living now and needs the money. It has been garaged all its life until last week when I drove it here (Pendleton, In). It is excellent shape as the pictures note and the only rust that I could find was a tiny spot on the corner of the driver's door (see pictures). This car is practically identical to a 240D but has the same engine from the W201 190E 2.3L so parts are available for both the engine and chassis here in the USA. Here are the details:The 2.3L fuel injected engine starts right up and runs greatFour speed automatic transmission shifts crisplyVacuum adjustable European market only headlights that work just like they should on both hi and low beamElectric adjustable passenger side mirrorBecker cassette deck (the radio function does not work, but it plays cassettes just fine)Heat and air conditioning. (The air needs recharged but I can remember it working when I was younger and rode with my grandmother in this car) Never been smoked in all its life.First aid kit just like new behind the rear bench seatSpare tire with jack, fuel can, tools, and original hazard triangleAll maintenance paperwork and receiptsRuns and drives greatPower sunroof works great and does not leakHeadliner is tight and looks like newThe Michelin tires have 85% tread left and all matchHere are the only bad things about it.
