I purchased this vehicle from the second owner in Australia in March of 2010. A broker shipped it to Seatle Washington. The vehicle arrived at my home in Aug 2010. It is titled and fully licensed in the State of Ohio. I leave the Aussie plates on it because they look cool. This is the cleanest Troopy I have ever seen. It has a 6 cylinder diesel engine and seat belts for 7 passengers. You can easily add 4 more belts to seat 11. I have had a lot of work done to make this Troopy excellant mechanically... 1. Rebuilt cylinder head with new head gaskets and all new upper end gaskets. 2. Rebuilt fuel injectors 3. Rebuilt fuel pump 4. Radiator re-cored 5. New Fan clutch 6. All new hoses and belts 7. New Warn hubs 8. Rebuilt rear axel 9 New HD battery All work done by certified diesel mechanic. Always starts and doesn't smoke or burn oil. No oil leaks or drips, not driven in rain or snow and always garaged. Body and frame is in excellant condition, no sign of any rust and body seems solid no signs of any body putty. Im sure this is not the orginal paint but it looks good. Four wheel drive works great and tires including spare about 70 percent tread. The odometer reads 306,378 but that's in Kilometers which is about 184,000 miles, These engines commonly go 600,000 miles. Second owner kept Troopy at his cottage on Stanbroke Island Australia (still has stickers on windshield). Front PTO winch works and I think you could pull a house with it. Does great on fuel - averages around 25 mpg, This is a great vehicle but don't buy it if you don't like attention. People of all ages love this thing and wave, honk, and are full of questions and smiles. Considerations: A/C does not work and has never been worked on (to my knowledge),- stereo doesnt work- Cigarette lighter doesn't work -rear seats have a few tears and the dome light doesn't work. I also have a roof rack for it and it even has a working rear heater. The roo bar (kangeroo bar) will probably work if needed :) You can drive it home or I can help arrange shipping.
