One of only 3,400 1998 Ford Mustang SVT Cobra Convertibles (one of 217 in this color combination) in exceptional condition. I am only the third owner, of this very well cared for Cobra. The car is mostly stock but does have a few tasteful additions. I installed a JNL Cold Air Induction kit for better performance and better fuel economy and Tinted Windows (NC Legal) to keep it a little cooler inside. Other than that the car is in great stock condition with a flawless black leather interior (zero rips or tears). During the colder months I install my color matched Smoothline Daytona R removable Hardtop ($5,500 upgrade). The hardtop gives it a real sleek look and offers great protection during the winter. I get tons of compliments and comments on this top and I have never seen another one! The car is powered by the standard high performance 4.6 L Duel Over Head Cam (DOHC) Modular V8 with 305 hp @ 5800 rpm and 300 lbs-ft @ 4800 rpm. The transmission is a 5-speed T-45 manual and the rear end is a 8.8" Solid axle 3.27:1 ratio w/Traction Lock. All stock equipment with only 97K original miles and the car runs incredibly strong. Maintenance/miscellaneous: I recently spent $1,400 on the air conditioning unit and it blows ice cold! I also spent $1,200 on Top of the line Nitto Tires and leather wrapped Style Bar (Light bar). I also installed new rear shocks, new fuel pump and O2 Sensors. The car is incredibly honest, complete and well maintained. We have owned it for the past four years and have done nothing but enjoy it. It is absolutely ready to be driven and enjoyed. Included are the original window sticker ($36,000 in 1998) and the SVT owner s book. I also have a set of 2007 Shelby GT 500 wheels and tires that can go with the car. Since these pictures were taken I polished the front headlights out. Great car and we hate to let it go. By far one of the nicest 98 Cobra Convertibles you will find!
