1992 Geo Tracker 4 cylinder 4x4 Auto Trans 85k miles "Fixer Upper" Up for auction is a low mileage Geo Tracker 4X4. This fixer upper has an electrical problem. It has an electrical problem. It keeps blowing the F1 15 amp fuse. A little research revealed it was probably the wiring to the fuel pump. Rewiring did not solve the problem. So, we dropped the gas tank replaced the fuel pump and it started! It ran for about 20 minutes we shut it off satisfied the problem was solved. So we rehung the gas tank (fuel pump is in the tank) turned the key to start it and the fuse blew again! I said, that's it, I'm done! Now you can buy it! When I did hear the engine on this tracker run it was absolutely great! It shows 85k on the odometer, but it sounds like a new engine, very smooth no smoke tics or strange noises. The interior is very nice. The glass is all good. Tires are very good. Lights and heat work. This Tracker is very rusty. It came to me non-running but the 4wd seems to shift like it should and it has lock out hubs. If you can fix cars this would be a very good project for you. Heck, if you're a Tracker enthusiast and can fix this, I'd be happy to pay you! The engine sounds so good, I'd love to get it on the road. Please note, the stereo system is not included and the battery is bad so it will need to be replaced. Must be towed or trailered.
