Up for auction is a beautiful 1982 Mercedes 300 SD. This W126 body style was the last of it's kind made by Mercedes. These vehicles were built to last forever with only the best materials. This Diesel motor is also indestructable and many have more than 500k miles on them. This fine example is in excellent condition for it's age. It is also a rust free Florida car. Gets 27 MPG CITY and comfortable seats 5 adults. It has been well cared and serviced for and many new parts have been replaced as needed throughout the years. Most recent items are: New paint- original paint was only faded from the Florida sun. No accidents ever. New A/C last summer. Blows cold New radiator New brakes, tires and alignment I would not hesitate to drive this across the country today. It drives straight and smooth, no shakes or rattles, all electronics work except for the radio. It was working until recently but it is an old cassette type anyway. Exterior is excellent with the new paint, no scratches or dings. Chrome is all excellent. Glass is good except for the rear window that has started to haze in the corner. Almost all have this common problem. Interior is also excellent. Seats are all perfect. No rips or stains. Carpets are all excellent. Dash and door panels in excellent condition. Window tint should come off as it is old. In all this is a great example of this model. You can drive it everyday, it is that dependable. Also 27 MPG in the city is more than the 2012 Mercedes S Class Hybrid gets 19 city. The only know items are the radio and the odometer stopped working last year.
