1972 MUSTANG MACH 1 Perfect for a collector or a shop that wants the perfect Mach1 to restore. I purchased this Mach1 last year. I had been trying to buy it for the previous two years and got the call one day he was ready to sell it. I purchased it with every intention of restoring it and keeping it as a weekend car, However after starting some work I've realized that my busy schedule is not allowing me the time I need to do a restoration right now. Since I purchased it last year, I've had the FMX auto transmission rebuilt. Tune up, one new tire, New belts, Hoses, battery, oil change and I'm sure more but just can't think of anything elese right now. The person I purchased the car from said he was the original owner and bought it here in the Los Angeles area. I haven't done much research on that because it didn't really matter to me. I can tell it's a solid car. Condition: The car is solid and is in original type condition, Meaning interior and most everything else looks to be original and not chopped up by some kid over the years. Look at the pics and you can see for yourself. Not any rust that I could find except for surface rust in the trunk which wipes off with a light sanding. This is the type of car YOU WANT if you're going to do a restoration car. It even has a perfect dashboard with not splits or cracks!! The drivers seat needs repairs and the car needs some body work and paint. The previouys owner hit something with the front. The grill is gone and radiator support beam needs to be replaced. Looks like there was a repaint years ago but thats faded now as you can see in the pics. If you are not a local buyer I will help you as much as possible with shipping. Buyer pays all shipping cost. I'm not giving the car away and I'm not deseperate to sell it so please don't make me stupid offers and I'm not parting it out because it's a solid car as I've said.
