Offered is a totally orignal 60 mercury. Orignal paint, interior and drivetrain. This old Mercury was nearly 300 horse power. And ordered with a standard transmission and no power accessories to pull from the engine. The Merc suffered a broken transmission early in life. It was pulled from a barn in Penn. and still sports the 1970 plates from when it was taken out of service. I have removed the orignal carpet as it was soiled and dirty. The floor under is rock solid. It has been years since I have had it running and the trans is now out. I have totally rebuild the trans with N.O.S. Mercury parts, including, cluster, intermediate gears, blocking ring and thrust washers front and rear. New gaskets and seals installed. Trans was deburred and inside painted with gear case red. Outside painted with Eastwoods Cast Blast. One very rare Merc convertible. Have some extra parts that go with the sale. Two N.O.S. quarter panels and a four barrel intake, carb and air cleaner assembly. Trans is currently out of the car.
