Vehicle Detail
Restoration project in process. Runs and wouldn't be afraid to drive cross country. I bought this 60 with a blown engine, spun crank bearings. Car was very solid as a car of only a few years old. I had and installed a 61 223 cu. in. six in place of the orignal 223. The orignal engine had the crank turned .010/.010. Disassembled hot tanked and new cam bearings and freeze plugs installed. It was then Sunnen cylinder honed and new rings fitted along with crank and rod bearings. A new oil pump and timing set was also installed. Engine has been lovingly reassembled and plasti gauged. Complete pan to cylinder head. This motor is on the engine stand. I also purchased a Fenton split exhaust iron header with twin carb set up. Have fender skirts. Also installed is a completely treated gas tank, blasted, etched and coated. Painted with Eastwoods tank coat. The complete brake system has been replaced with new. Removing backing plates, blasting and epoxy coating. Using Kanter's Master Rebuild Kit, the master cyl., wheel cyl., shoes, springs, hardware, hoses and lines running to all wheels were replaced. all gaskets and seals on wheels along with packing bearings. The 61 engine has had, plugs, points, rotor, cond., cap and wires replaced. A carb and fuel pump kit was also installed. Also fitted with new radial tires and spare.
