I am selling my 79 beetle convertible with only 41550 original miles on it. I am driving it so that will slightychange? The car is in excellent condition and runs great. It is truly one of the last beetle convertibles built. Inside the door jam it has a manufacture date of jan 1980. It is my understanding that the factory closed in the fall of 79 but was reopened to build more cars untill they ran out of parts. The factory closed for good on January 10th of 1980 making this car one of the last ones built. I have owned the car for the past 7 years and have only had to do general maintenance it has always been reliable and a good running fun car. It is not a show car but is in great shape and is rust free.
