Vehicle Detail
Finished in brillant original Irish Green over black interior. Distinguishable by its three dial, painted "button" dash, it is genuinely a mostly correct early production 912. One of the earliest models produced. It has been restored to a high level and its history is well documented. The car was delivered in Germany to a US serviceman who bought it to California. In 2009 it went to North Carolina where it was restored and painted to a high level and then to Pennsylvania for the past two years where it has been driven only in spring and summer and kept in a heated and cooled garage. Detailed service records including from one owner who recorded every fill-up, oil change, wiper change, etc. Has had three engine rebuilds, key suspension parts were replaced, and any rust issues addressed.. Paint quality is top notch! Options include chrome wheels, wooden steering wheel, 5 speed transmission, and barrel type headrests. Won 1st place in a local PCA sponsored Concour. Has newer Kuhmo tires. Has working Blaupunkt AM/FM radio. Runs well. Everything works except odo, interior vent lever, and passenger window is hard to crank closed. Shifts and brakes well. Owner is a longtime Porsche nut and belongs to PCA, early 911 registry and 912 registry. I love this car and hate to sell it but I have run out of garage space.
