You are bidding on a 1986 Mercedes Benz 420 SEL. Body is nice and straight, apart from some dings, dents and scratches from daily use.It runs and drives good after warm up but burns lots of oil initialy, presumably due to the valve guides in need of replacement. Transmisson shifts nice and smooth.Interior is nice and clean. Driver and passenger seats still have their original lamb skin seat covers. Middle console has a filled in crack. Driver seat needs new switch, electric sliding roof only pop-up function works. A/C needs to be refilled.Original Becker-radio does not play. Lots of new parts put in, among them: new front shocks, brakes and calipers, rear brakes, new tie rods, strut mount kit and other parts. If you have any questions feel free to contact me.
