For auction is a 1980 Volvo with a 1989 Mustang 5.0 v-8, 5 speed conversion. I've owned the car for a year and am thinning out the herd. Previous owner bought car with V-8 conversion done. He proceeded to remove vinyl top, do required body work, and repainted car. He also swapped seats and other interior components. I have a complete photo record of work that he did. Since I have had it I have replaced front and rear springs, struts and shocks. A stainless steel performance muffler was installed. I have also installed a high capacity radiator with a 14" electric cooling fan. All conversion work was done properly. Engine and transmission perform as they should. All gauges work properly. This was not a half assed conversion. V-8 runs very strong with no smoke or leaks. Transmission shifts well and cluth operates properly. Engine starts first time everytime. Car has all season tires with excellent tread. Front seats are from a different volvo model. They are a slightly different shade than the rest of interior as they have been reprayed. Radio unit is unoperable.The interior is presentable.Headliner in good shape. Front seats have cracks, but not tears. Paint job is not professional but quite acceptable. Body work was done properly with some metal replaced. Car has no noticeable rust. Undercarriage is in excellent condition. Car is very quick, handles nicely, and brakes as it should. Previous owner replaced many parts throughtout car.Many spare parts are included. This is a solid fun, reliable, driver and quite a sleeper. I have tried to be honest in my description.
