This neat little Honda was totaled out by the previous owners Insurance Company and will be a SUPER EZ-FIX for anyone. The damage is simple, the hood flew up!! I removed the bulk of the damaged windshield for safety and drivability to road test, pics will show this. It looks like the hood safety latch was the only thing holding the hood and when it could not hold on any longer thats when the windshield and roof took the hit? The latch looks useable but will need to be re-fitted back in place along with a hood, w/shield & roof repair. The roof damage is simple and no harm to moon roof or headliner and damage is only what can be seen in front of moon roof. I always recommend doing the work yourself if possible and buying used or aftermarket parts will make a huge profit here because these little Civic's are at a premium $ on the retail car lots. This car runs & drives down the road excellent but will need to be trailered home because of the obvious damage. The overall car is in great condition, this Honda has the popular 1.7L Honda VTEC engine that is full of clean oil and sounds exactaly as you would want it to sound, also the clutch is smooth and shifts smooth and right through the gears, no prob. If a person was a beginner on a manual shift this one will make learning easy. No rust or hail, some dings as can be seen in pics but will all be only normal wear & tear. The 4-KUMHO tires look to have been just recently installed and the car looks to have came from a good home. The interior is also in good condition for the age and will satisfy anyone. No odor from smoke or pets and all power equipment works as it should including cold air, cruise control and keyless entry. The previous owners Insurance company and N.A.D.A. on line valued this loaded up Honda Civic at $6000. before damage.
