Here is my 1978 VW Super Beetle Convertible. Champagne red with new white top in 2004 and original white interior in beautiful condition. This vehicle was driven up until it was in an accident in 2005 and has been parked since. (last owner paid $6900 for this car, drove it 800 miles then crashed it)I purchased it in its present condition on a whim with the intentions of giving it a frame up restoration and using it as a Sunday cruiser. only problem is, I have limited time and not alot of room to store this. I figure if it doesn't sell I will just store it in the back of the yard until one day I can get around to restoring it. On the other hand if I can find a buyer now I would unload it and move on to my next project. Currently it turns over fine but will not start, there is a leak in the fuel lines and when you put gas in the tank it just pours out the bottom of the car. It needs a new hood and possibly a front apron, or the front apron can possibly be banged back out. with a little work this will make someone a great car someday. please feel free to ask any questions, I will do my best to answer them.
