If you want the "sporty" Columbo look, this rare 1969 Peugeot 404 Convertible will please you for sure... Very rare model to come by for the english car enthusiast. As pictured, it has been very well taken care of and kept original. It comes with regular soft top as well as original hard top in very good condition as well. The car drives very fine, shows no mechanical leaks, transmission and engine in balance, paint is still shiny but has a couple of flaws as pictured. Very little to do on this car, part time while you enjoy it! Pictures will tell you pretty much the story, and there is a lot of documents coming with the car to document the partial restoration and lots of magazines from the Peugeot 404 club... We did put a lot of pictures so you can find the details you are looking for but don't hesitate to contact us if you need any other info. PAYMENT TERMS & CONDITIONS Payment terms will be discussed with winner bidder (bank wire is the fastest and safest option). Of course, serious bidders only. Full payment before shipping the vehicule. I like to keep my customers happy as you can tell by my feedback profile. The car is not mine, I am selling it on a consignment basis and I take care of all the paperwork, payment, transport and smooth transaction process. All sales are FINAL. You can come over and inspect the car if you wish anytime. I sold about 70 cars through eBay and made happy new owners about every time. CUSTOM, EPA & DOT STUFF Custom fee is approximately 1000$US including import tax on foreign vehicule if I take it across the border on a freight... but most of the time no import fees if you trailer it back home since you will import it yourself and they usually don't know about the import tax. If I take care of export and transport, I will have all the paperwork prepared and you won't have to get your own custom broker. I take care of everything except of course, your State and Federal tax and your inspection + registration. SHIPPING TERMS Shipping that car from Quebec (Canada) to Virginia is about 800$US, to Florida, around 1400$US and to California would be more around 2500$US depending on the location. I usually ship enclosed, especially that kind of car. If you have a carrier on your own, we can use them too of course. Want to save a few $$?? We suggest that you fly up to inspect the car of course but another option is to drive up and trailer it back home. Save on customs brokerage and import fees (1000$) and transport as well. You need a passport to cross the border and we will provide you with the registration certificate (we don't have Titles here) and a Bill of Sale wich is all you need to make it cross the border. A nice ride with a friend or with your spouse to Quebec City, Canada! The border process is pretty easy if you have the bill of sale and registration which we will provide, no worries.
