This was a ground up build of an original Falcon Sprint. The body was a very straight rust free car missing engine and transmission. While doing the build I wanted to remain "true" to the Sprint but add several upgrades. Those up grades include: TCI Mustang II front suspension with power rack and pinion. The 260 was replace with a 302 roller cam but the F.I. was replaced with an Edelbrock Preformer manifold and an Edelbrock 600 CFM Carburator. Electronic ignition was added along with an alternator replacing the original generator. Behind the 302 you will find a t-5 tremac 5 speed and a Hurst shifter. The rear end is original and very quite with only new bearings, seals and brakes installed. Sound is provided by dual Magnaflow stainless steel mufflers and it sounds great! The paint was taken down to bare metal with many hours of primer and block sanding followed by a georgous red 2 stage paint that was beautifully color sanded for a mirror like finish. Everything on the inside is new including headliner, carpets, package tray, seat upolstry and door panels. New dash covering plus the instruments were replaced with modern anolog gauges. The radio is original but I have installed a pioneer CD player am/fm unit. The windshield is new but all other glass is original. All rubber seals were replaced. Both bumpers were re-plated but most of the bright work, stainless and anodized aluminum are original and in excellent condition. Tires have less than 1000 miles.This may not be a 50-60K Barrett-Jackson car but it is a car that you will be very proud to own and drive. This is a great crusier! While not a race car it does perform very well.
