Vehicle Detail
Here is a very nice 2001 Quattro Avant wagon. It has 4 nearly new Continental ContiProContact tires, new brakes and turned rotors, new alternator, new timing belt, thermostat, water pump, all new pulleys and belts. The cam seals, valve cover gaskets and cam tensioner seals are new and there are no oil leaks (common on the 2.8 30 valve engine.) The transmission has a new filter and new oil and shifts smoothly. The AC blows cold. It has the Audi Symphony stereo and a single CD player. The wiring is in the back if you want a CD changer. It has a donut spare and a jack. There is no water intrusion to the cabin, again a common problem on these. The flex pipes are new. I just changed the oil and I use Rotella 5w30 pure synthetic. Oil samples sent to Blackstone Labs show very little engine wear and they recommend 10 thousand on the synthetic oil. New oil filter and new air and cabin filters as well. Wipers are all good and the washers work front and back. New plush floor mats front and rear. Cargo net. In short, you will have none of the common Audi maintenance issues with this Avant. I have taken care of all of them. The only issues that I am aware of are the child window lock at the driver's console does not unlock. $60 for a used one. It does not have the first aid kit in the center arm rest on the rear seat. There is no cargo cover. The AM radio reception sucks the big one but the FM is pure and the CD player is great. There are a few missing lines on the center display depending on the outside temperature. The driver's seat lumbar adjustment needs to be fixed but all the power seat adjustments other than that work just fine. There are a couple of small dents on the roof, where someone dropped their kayak, but no major paint blemishes and no damage evident. It's a 2001 so keep that in mind. This is a nice highway cruiser and a pretty good grocery hauler. I average 15 around town and 24 on the highway on regular gas. I tried hi-test but it made no difference plus it's more expensive! Please ask questions before bidding and please be serious. On Jul-07-12 at 13:07:35 PDT, seller added the following information: I don't know why the Experian AutoCheck is not working on my listing but when I bought the car it had a 78 rating. No wrecks. I will keep working to see if I can get that feature activated and accurate. The only evidence of damage that I can see was on the right rear wheel well liner, which I replaced, it appears as though a previous owner threw a tire tread and tore up the liner. That is the only area of damage I can see and I have been all over and under the car a lot. Please let me know if you have specific photos you want and I will go take them. The reason I'm selling is I got a new one so this one has to go. I can only drive one at a time. On Jul-12-12 at 06:20:39 PDT, seller added the following information: I just talked to USAA credit union to see about getting the title expedited and they told me 4 weeks to get it delivered. They are moving them from California to Pennsylvania but it's guaranteed so keep that in mind when bidding. You will get a clear title.
