Vehicle Detail
1992 Mercedes Benz 190E 2.6 Sportline model 5-speed manual shift(extremely rare) Car is in great condition in/out - relative to its age - with no rust on body or under carriage and has been garage kept most of the time which helps to keep the paint shinny. Car is solid, drives smoothly with no shakes down the highway and stops equally well. Everything is working - sunroof, power windows, A/C, radio as well as all gauges. Parts upgraded around the last 5000 miles: - front(cross-drilled) and rear rotors and all brake pads - muffler, transmission and rear differential fluid - 4 tires Few minor issues: - power antenna stuck but motor working though - check-engine light sometimes come on and off; it has been like that for sometime and doesn't seem to affect driveability; car just passed NJ inspection - some scratches and scuff marks - AutoCheck shows issue with accidents: My car was tapped in the rear bumper by a small sports car with a very low front end around 8 years ago and only scratched the very bottom small portion of my rear bumper cap; it is difficult to see it unless you lay down on the ground to look for it. There is absolutely no frame damage or anything else caused by this accident. On Jul-14-12 at 11:50:45 PDT, seller added the following information: I want to be up front and let the bidders know that this is a solid car, but by no means that it is in a concourse condition as one may expect to see cars from the Pepple Beach car show or the Barett-Jackson car auction. The car is well maintained over the years but it is used in a careful manner for about 20 years; so bid accordingly and the reserve price is much lower than NADA's lowest pricing:$34,900$4,100$5,525$7,025Options: (add options)ADD-SPORTLINE PKG 5%5%5%TOTAL PRICE$34,900$4,305$5,801$7,376*Some of the door panels inside near the bottom of the windows edge are wedged out of line but does not affect the closing of the doors or making any rattle noises. This seems to be common with the MB 190E from this period; a mechanic I spoke to says it is due to the hot/cold temperature expansion of the panels. I want to bring this point up front as I forgot late last night when this auction was posted. My perfect rating on Ebay is more important and don't want anyone to feel misled if they win the final bid. Good luck.
