This car was purchased new by Obed & Mary Lewis at Southland Dodge in Pittsburg, Pa. They owned a hardware store and used the company truck for just about everything and used the Dart for special trips only. Always garaged and maintained, so it is very well preserved. The bottom of the car is rust free and rock solid as are the inner fenders, trunk and all body panels. NEVER HAD ANY PAINT WORK and the paint still shows very well having the usual factory orange peel with minimal signs of wear and use. Most will think it has been restored. The only painting that was done was to the engine because so much of the original Chrysler paint had peeled from time. Original trunk, interior and body. All factory date codes are present, the vin is on the block, the decals and chalk marks from the factory still remain. EVERY ITEM IN THE CAR FUNCTIONS AS IT DID IN '71. No fluid leaks, no strange noises, no rattles, no mechanical or electrical isssues, NOTHING! Please, if you are able, take the opportunity to view the car and drive it. You will not be disappointed. I have the original window sticker, both build sheets, dealer paperwork and more. The spare tire has never been put on and the jack never used. All the locks work fine with the original keys, the windows roll up and down smoothly, the glass is all original, the windshield washer works fine, radio plays perfectly, heater, wipers, turn signals, horn and on and on.
