Up for auction is a vintage 1965 Ford Galaxie 500. This car has been parked in a ladies barn since 1987 and was towed over here it ran when stored in 1987 but has not been started or even attempted to start since then. It has a clean title. It has a 352 8 cylinder engine. Selling this car as is with no warranty or returns all sales final. Please read all of the description and ask questions prior to bidding.Please make pickup arrangements with in 24 hours of winning auction. Also please note a deposit of 100.00 must be made via paypal within 72 hours of auction end this in non refundable so please be serious about bidding on this vehicle, the rest may be paid in cash when you pick up the car. Overall the body is in good condition for its age no major damage there is a small amount of rust by the rear wheel wells on both sides and a few spots on hood and above the drivers headlight, there is a very small dent above the drivers head light too and a crease/dent on the passenger side of the car. The front grill is in really good condition minor pitting and is slightly bent on the passenger side not bothersome. All 4 front headlights good, the passenger side light cage is cracked, 1 broken tail light, back and front bumper good with all chrome some pitting, the rear window is missing and has been replaced with plexi-glass, the passenger side "wing" window has a broken hinge, it has all 4 original hub caps (2 are in the trunk), and most of the original chrome trim except the one piece below the missing rear window, it has most of the original logos although its missing 2 "galaxie" logos and 1 "500" logo. It has both original side mirrors and original rear view mirror, also has original gas cap and antenna. The inside is in fair condition for sitting in a barn for over 20 years, it has a musty mouse smell, the dash is really good, glove box opens/closes fine, front seat is torn and has mouse damage it will need to be reapolstered, the rear seat is good, and both door panels good. Under the hood needs work as you can see mice have been there the air filter is in the trunk, once again this hasn't been started since 1987 and will need to be towed on a trailer as all 4 tires are weathered and very flat. The inside of the drivers door panel reads "Body-63B Color-M Trim-62 Date-17K Axle-1 Trans-4 vehicle warranty #5p66x117904" The miles reads 35346.5 but I'm sure its 135346.5.
