Vehicle Detail
This great little car has seen the world but now is in need of lot's of TLC. 2003 Mini Cooper S, dark green, 200,000 plus miles. Standard 6 speed transmission. Fast and Fun! We haven't run the car in a year but it did run at that time (really loudly due to the missing exhaust system). Some of the things that it needs are: NEEDS: new exhaust system including catalytic converter new steering fluid pump (we used to just add fluid every week or so) tierods, control arms, etc. rear wiper motor floor heat doesn't work possible head gasket leak Also had an encounter with a deer which banged up the front quarter panel on the drivers side and took off the mirror. I think that most of these things could be fixed and you would have a great little car. I tried to jump start the car yesterday but it wouldn't turn over, I assume that the battery is too shot from sitting unused for a year. Lights and electronics did all work. We loved this car and are sad to let it go but it served us very well for many years. Leather seats are torn at stich lines, there is a leak (between windshield and roof?) so water has gotten into the car. Car does not have the "run-flat" tires at this time. Nice wheels. The car is in CT and we are not able to ship it as we are not a dealer. You may arrange shipping at your own expense or come and tow it away. (Yakima car rack shown in photo will probably be removed before sale) On Jul-14-12 at 12:13:42 PDT, seller added the following information:My apologies, I forgot to mention that I am selling the car with the 17" set of 4 wheels that we have. At the moment we have 3 17" and 1 16" wheel on the Mini at the moment due to our son ruining a brand new 17" tire just before we stopped driving it. We put one of our 16" snow tires on it temporarily. I will swap that out before the sale but please be aware that the tire is completely ruined, he drove on it for awhile. As far as we know the wheel is still good, but you won't be able to tow the car without bringing a tire. I will be selling the set of 16 inch wheels with snow tires separately but haven't listed them yet. - treedots
