Vehicle Detail
What a wonderfu car to find. This car came from an estate in Kansas. It had been sitting in storage for a very long time. The title is a clear title from Kansas but the license plate is a 1914 Ohio plate. I believe the car was purchased in Ohio and driven to Kansas and that's where it sat until I bought it. The car is all original except for the top cloth has been replaced at one time. I reupholstered the seat and put new wiring to the timer. I put in new sparkplug wires and new sparkplugs.I replaced the water pump, put on new front tires & tubes. I put new clutches in the transmission, low gear drum and bands, a new gas tank & fuel line, a new bulls bag,and rebuilt the carborator. I installed a new exhaust manifold and a muffler, and a new magneto coil. Other than that it is all 1914!! The car drives & runs excellent. And does not overheat. this car is a very good touring car and always gets attention when you stop to get gas. Three years ago we took it to a parade 40 miles away, and of all the old cars there it drew the most attention. To all of you Model T Ford poeple you know this is a very rare car. The pictures show that the brass radiator is in good shape. Holds antifreeze 200%. It does have a couple of "dings" on it but not bad. The brass headlights have a couple of "dings" as well. The taillight has a small dent on the top. The car body has a couple of "dings" also. The rest of the car is pretty straight. There might be a couple of small dents somewhere on one of the fenders but all-in-all it is almost perfect. If there is any quesions for if you want a better picture of a certain area just let me know. There is no "reserve" on this auction but I do have the right to stop the auction if the price doesn't suit me. PS.The car starts very easily and runs excellent. And also notice the spare tire carrier on the left running board. The carbide generator is missing the red hoses that go to the headlights. Thanks for looking and Happy bidding. On Jul-12-12 at 19:19:47 PDT, seller added the following information: I have some better pictures and am trying to delete some existing ones and posting the new ones but I can not find how to remove the unwanted ones. I do have a picture of the engine number which matches the title number. Sorry for the inconvience. thanks
