Hello Everybody. Up for bids here is a very unique 1971 super beetle convertible, made in Germany (see tag in pics). Car has a 1835 dual port engine which runs great and gets excellent gas mileage! Something that you wont find on other bugs are disk brakes...This car has disk brakes all around which have great response and smooth braking compared to the standard drum brakes. The interior is all like new except for a tear on the driver seat (I will address this later in this description). Switches all work as well as lights. Sony stereo included but is not connected, however does include wiring harness) The door panels are new and we did not want to have speaker holes cut into them...we will leave that decision to the new owner. All windows work (please note that in some pics, the rear window is slightly ajar, but all windows do roll up and down and seal. The top is like new with no tears or fades etc. White walls are new and tires have around 95% tread still! Chrome is good as well.This car was recently in an advertising photo set as well as promotional video for a fashion distribution company so there is a chance that your new bug could be the very same found in a magazine! I took these pictures in what was left of the studio. As the studio is not in use anymore, I will leave the car there covered until arrangements are made for pickup or delivery to the transport company.We ask that payment be made via cashiers check or money order within 3 days of auctions end at which point I will send over the title which is clear and in-hand. Car is registered to June.If Buy It Now is used, I will order new factory seat skins for the front and have them installed to take care of the tear in the drivers seat.
