Vehicle Detail
Has 170 6 cyl engine with 4-speed transmission. Engine has recent ring job and rod bearings. Starts and runs like new. Doesn't smoke. NOS carburetor. New radial tires and brakes (brake cylinders and master cylinder have been rebuilt. Front brake lines replaced, drums turned and shoes relined). New king pins and tie rod ends. Front end aligned New muffler and tail pipe New wiring harness complete Complete new interior kit as original except I installed carpet instead of rubber floor mats. Seat re-done in matching vinyl. All gauges work however speedometer is about 15 MPH off. Gas tank removed and chemically cleaned. New fuel line to fuel pump. All glass and rubber is new as well as door rubber and cat whiskers. I reinforced underside of the box with angle iron (about every foot). Makes it very straight and solid. The bed has two coats of spray on bedliner. There is one area of the bed that has been repaired/welded. Otherwise a very good box for 65 year old work truck. Very nice amatuer paint job inside and out in 2011. Not one to be judged, however but I get many compliments and it shows well. No chips or scratches. All chrome pieces are either new or replated with the exception of the nose piece on the hood. This truck needs nothing, it is ready to roll for Saturday night cruises and shows, etc. Highway cruiser it is not due low gear ratio for 1 ton truck. I have tried to describe it as well as I can. There are not too many 1 ton pickups of this series restored and more often than not the box is replaced with a flat bed. I have receipts for all work done on the truck. Truck has been shown twice since restored and won class winner plaque in both events. Thanks for looking. I welcome your inquiries and feel free to ask if there is some info I may have left out.
